Sandra Bullock survives on three hours sleep a night

New mom Sandra Bullock says she is surviving on just three hours sleep a night.

The Blind Side actress, who adopted baby Louis Bardo earlier this year, has revealed that like most new parents she's learning to live with the sleepless nights, but that it's worth it.

The 45-year-old told Now: "I have been surprised by the fact that I really only need three hours of sleep. I have learned that a little person screaming at the top of his lungs can mean six things ... and I will figure out which one it is and fix it. I don't want anyone else to have the pleasure of changing poopy diapers but me. There is nothing hard about loving Louis."

In parallel to her real life, the Oscar-winning actress played a woman who adopts a son in The Blind Side, but said she never imagined she would actually have a son of her own. "I have to laugh at the parallels," she said. "If you had told me that this would happen I would have thought you were insane. I never imagined I would say the words 'my son'."
