Abhishek Bachchan is returning to Mumbai having spent over a month abroad in Greece and Turkey filming for the upcoming thriller 'Game.'
His wife, Aishwarya Rai, was with him for the entire duration of his stay in Greece and part of his stay in Istanbul, Turkey. While in Istanbul, Abhishek and Aishwarya separately went to Cannes in France for the 63rd Annual Film Festival there and then returned together to the Turkish capital.
Delighted to be returning home after a long spell away, Abhihsek tweeted on June 5.
"i'm happy to be leaving Istanbul and heading back to aamchi mumbai and to home food!!!"
Abhishek is probably happiest returning to his beautiful wife Aishwary Rai, but we understand why he wouldn't want to mention that in his tweet.
Actually, Abhishek didn't miss home food as much as he would like us to believe because his mother, Jay Bachchan, stayed with him in Istanbul for a few days after Aishwarya returned to India. We remember Abhishek tweeting about the home cooked food that 'mothership' Jaya served to him.
Game, produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Movies, additionally stars Kangna Ranaut, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani and Shahana Goswami.
Following his return to Mumbai, Abhishek will get busy in promoting Raavan with Aishwarya, his co-star in the film. The eagerly awaited Mani Ratnam film releases in theatres on June 18.
After promoting Raavan, Abhishek will resume filming the second schedule for Dum Maro Dum. Helmed by Rohan Sippy, the film additionally stars Kangna Ranaut, Prateik Babbar and Aditya Pancholi.
