Judge Marsha Revel has called an emergency hearing to determine why Lindsay's SCRAM anklet tripped during an MTV Movie Awards after party on Sunday.
The Judge, who is overseeing Lindsay's 2007 DUI case, ordered Lindsay to wear the anklet and stay off drugs and alcohol after she failed to turn up at a probation hearing in the case last month.
The emergency hearing at 3PM PT on Tuesday will be attended by Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, and Danette Meyers, the prosecutor in the case.
According to Radar Online, the judge called the meeting after officials from the SCRAM company presented her with a report on what triggered the anklet and Lindsay's alcohol level at the time.
Sources in the SCRAM company tell TMZ, that the device could have been triggered either by alcohol or a cut strap. Lindsay's friend tell the website that she didn't drink that night.
When a SCRAM device is triggered, it doesn't set off an audible or visible alarm, but silently sends data to its base station.
