Another celeb bites the Internal Revenue Dust. According to the IRS, Christina Ricci owes a grand total of $179,568 in unpaid taxes from back in 2008. The IRS took placed a lien on her finances. So of course a representative said that Christina was told about the lien and that she is taking “immediate action to address it in a responsible manner.”
Like we always say, the IRS doesn’t just place a lien on your bank accounts all of a sudden without you knowing. In fact they spend a lot of time giving you time to pay. With letter after letter that comes in, the threats of liens become stronger. So we never believe celebs who say they never knew about the situation. They should just admit they don’t have the cash to pay up.
