Spencer Pratt has run out of money after buying half a million dollars worth of crystals along with guns, cars, clothes for his wife and vacations, according to reports.
"Spencer blew through all of their money. They've been living on credit. They spent the money they got from The Hills," a source has said.
The reality star is said to have spent hundreds of thousands on energy crystals last year, admitting at the time: "I am so addicted to crystals, it's like a sickness … I've spent $500,000 on crystals this year. I checked my bank account last night, and I have $203 left. There's a whole science to this. I'm not crazy."
Pratt and his wife Heidi Montag, who recently moved out of the Pacific Palisades house they once shared, are said to have enjoyed eating out at expensive restaurants and buying designer clothing and handbags. He is said to have "blown money" on vacations, guns and classic cars, Radar Online reports.
"The trouble is that Spencer spends all their money on being famous and although he's very smart when it comes to publicity his business sense is not up to scratch," a source said.
