Ranbir Kapoor confirmed that he is in talks with UTV to play the legendry singer Kishore Kumar, but said the proposed biopic is yet to be finalized.
"For quite a long time talks have been on about that film but nothing is decided as yet. Kishore Kumar is the legend of our industry and when a film is made on him it has to be done in the right way. It's too early to talk about it because nothing has been finalized as yet," Ranbir said on Tuesday at the launch the Nissan Micra.
Ranbir was recently appointed brand ambassador for Nissan.
Kishore's wife Leena Chandavarkar is reported to have sold the rights to the film to UTV.
It has been reported that Katrina Kaif may play Kishore Kumar's first wife Madhubala in the film.
However, Katrina also says, "It is too premature to talk about it."
