Minissha Lamba will co-star with Vinay Pathak and Kay Kay Menon in Sagar Ballary helmed Bheja Fry sequel.
Minissha, 25, just wrapped up Sagar's comedy Hum Tum Aur Shabana, which additionally stars Tushar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade.
It was Minissha's first comedy film and the director was obviously impressed enough to repeat her.
"I am very excited about this film. I have just finished working with Sagar in Hum Tum Aur Shabana and I am looking forward to working with him again in Bheja Fry 2," Minissha told Mumbai Mirror.
The film will be lensed in a start-to-finish schedule in Malaysia starting July.
Mukul Deora, son of Petroleum minister Murli Deora, will debut as a producer with this film.
Minissha was last seen in Shyam Benegal's Well Done Abba. Her performance in it caught the attention of a Polish director, who has offered her a role in his own film on child trafficking that is to be filmed in North Russia. Hopefully, it won't be in winter!
