Kim Kardashian is up for the lead role in the next Tomb Raider film.
According to the goss-watchers at Global Grind, the 29-year-old reality star has allegedly begun negotiations to play Lara Croft in the new 3D movie. Kim would be replacing Oscar winner Angelina Jolie, who played Croft in the first two films in the blockbuster franchise. Jolie doppleganger Megan Fox has also been considered for the role.
“This will be something very different to Angelina’s Lara,” a Hollywood insider blabs. “Kim is wanted to play a far more comic-strip version of Lara which would be shot in 3-D and aimed at a teen audience.”
Kim — who has been taking acting lessons since March– previously starred in an episode of CSI: NY and the 2008 box office stinker Disaster Movie.
