Eliza Coupe Female Comedian
If this list were being compiled based on looks alone, Eliza Coupe might just take the cake, but disappointingly for this delicious blond we’re also considering comic talent, so she narrowly misses out on the top spot. Which isn’t to say she isn’t funny. Star of everyone’s favorite medical comedy, Scrubs – in which she plays Dr. Denise ‘Jo’ Mahoney – this mile-a-minute bombshell first busted her way into the limelight with her one-woman theater sketch show, The Patriots, which won her the Breakout Performer Award at HBO’s U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in 2006. But it was actually a lack of opportunities to explore her funny side while touring in a tantalizing sounding all-female version of tragedy of tragedies, King Lear, that spurred her on to do something funny. Various TV and movie appearances followed, and her star looks set to continue rising in the 2010 ABC comedy, Happy Endings. Sounds interesting.
