Carrie Underwood wins two gongs at Country Music Awards


Carrie Underwood scooped two gongs at the Country Music Awards while Taylor Swift went home empty-handed.

The 2010 Country Music Awards recently took place in Nashville, Tennessee, and Underwood, 27, who won the fourth season of American Idol, picked up the Video of the Year award as well as the CMT Performance of the Year.

However, Swift, 20, lost out on Female Video of the Year as well as Collaborative Video of the Year and Video of the Year.

Nicole Kidman, 42, supported her husband Keith Urban, who performed at the ceremony and picked up the award for Male Video of the Year.

Other guests at the ceremony included Hayden Panettiere, LeAnn Rimes and Sheryl Crow.
