Akshay Kumar is taking his endorsement of a gold loan company seriously. He arrived at a press event appointing him brand ambassador dressed like he desperately needed a loan.
He wore blue relaxed fit jeans, untucked chocolate colored shirt with white buttons and flip-flops. Yes, you read that right, flip-flops! He could well have been dressed for a cup of tea sitting in his patio marveling the monsoon clouds!
Akshay and V.P. Nandakumar, Chairman, Manappuram Group exchanged files and shook hands after sealing the deal.
Nandakuma had earlier stated that Akshay will do an ad touting the hidden funding power of gold for the growth of gold loan segment. "It would be a long association. They are trying to spread a message, which I want to follow along," Akshay Kumar told the press at the event. He added that he has personally never taken any loans.
